Jammu Tawi, April 25: The shops, markets and other business establishments are to be opened only as per the following roster in the UT of Jammu Kashmir. They have been divided into 3 groups. The first group, Group 1 is to open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays while Group 2 would only reopen on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Group 3 would be opened from Mon to Saturday. Sundays would observe complete lockdown from Saturday 8 pm thru Sunday till Monday 6 am in Jammu and Kashmir.
GROUP-I MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY
1.Cloth and Readymade Garment Shops, Home Furnishing items, Shoes & Chappal Stores 2. Boutiques, Tailor shops, Hair Saloons, Cosmetic Shops 3. Jewelry shops and showrooms 4. Hardware, Cement & Building material Stores, Sanitary goods stores, Glass Houses, Shuttering materials 5. Mobile shops, Electrical Appliances Shops, and Watch & Electric Repair Shops, Cycle shops, IT & Computer shops. 6. Automobile Showrooms, Service Stations, Welding Shops
GROUP-II TUESDAY, THURSDAY SATURDAY
1.Malls & Mega Marts, Groceries, Departmental Stores, Confectionary Shops. 2. Gift Shops, Shops dealing with multiple items and Pooja related items 3. Utensil & Crockery Stores, Toy shops and Optical Facilities. 4. Book and Stationary Shops, Novel Stores, Typing and Printing Shops, Photostat shops. 5. Furniture Showrooms and Stores 6. Gyms and Spas. 7. Wine Shops. 8. Any other category not covered in Group-I.
GROUP-III MONDAY TO SATURDAY
1.Exclusively Wholesale establishments located at Kanak Mandi, Warehouse, Super Bazar and Paharian Mohalla or any other location to be notified separately later. 2. Beauty Parlours only for pre booked bridal makeup. 3. Standalone shops outside market areas catering to residential societies/streets to be identified by Tehsildar concerned by ensuring staggered opening and adherence to COVID SOP.
