Jammu, Jan 17: In a joint operation, the Indian Army’s Special Forces, along with Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), have initiated a cordon and search operation in the Billawar area of Kathua district, Jammu region. The operation comes in response to intelligence inputs indicating the possible presence of militants in the higher altitudes of the district.
According to sources, the security forces have sealed off the area and are conducting thorough searches to locate the suspected militants. In an effort to ensure public safety and facilitate the operation, local residents have been advised to stay indoors and cooperate with the authorities.
Additional reinforcements have been deployed to assist in the operation and track down the militants, as the security forces intensify their efforts in the region.
