JAMMU, JUNE 26: The Government on Saturday informed that 342 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 107 from Jammu division and 235 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 314316. Also, 05COVID-19 deaths have been reported,04 from Jammu Division and 01 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 864 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 375 from Jammu Division and 489 from Kashmir Division.
01new confirmed case of mucormycosis has been reported today, bringing the cumulative no of confirmed cases to 29 in the UT of J&K.
Besides this, 81.36 percent of population above the age of 45 years has been vaccinated across the Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 314316 positive cases,5630 are Active Positive, 304390 have recovered and 4296 have died; 2096 in Jammu division and 2200 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 9774384 test results available, 9460068 samples have been tested as negative till 26th June, 2021.
Till date 2383500 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 20766 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 5630 in isolation and 208758 in home surveillance. Besides, 2144050 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 69690 positive cases (including 84cases reported today) with 1042 Active Positive, 67824 recovered (including 126 cases recovered today), 824 deaths; Baramulla has 23160 positive cases (including 09 cases reported today)with 426 active Positive, 22456 recovered (including 63 cases recovered today), 278 deaths; Budgam reported 22469 positive cases (including 23 cases reported today)with 419 active positive cases, 21847 recovered (including 76 cases recovered today), 203 deaths; Pulwama has 14819 positive cases (including 29 cases reported today)with 305 Active Positive, 14326 recovered (including 59 cases recovered today)and 188 deaths; Kupwara has 13711 positive cases (including 18 cases reported today), 374 Active Positive, 13176 recoveries (including 56 cases recovered today), 161 deaths; Anantnag district has 15981 positive cases (including 24 cases reported today)with 337 Active Positive, 15446 recovered (including 40 cases recovered today), 198 deaths; Bandipora has 9246 positive cases (including 14 cases reported today), with 187 Active Positive and 8959 recoveries (including 13 cases recovered today), 100 deaths; Ganderbal has 9539 positive cases (including 18 cases reported today) with 195 Active Positive, 9268 recoveries (including 24 cases recovered today) and 76 deaths; Kulgam has 10991 positive cases (including 15 cases reported today)with 221 Active Positive, 10656 recoveries (including 26 cases recovered today) and 114 deaths while as Shopian has 5546 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today), 16 active positive cases, 5472 recoveries (including 06 cases recovered today) and 58 deaths.
Similarly, Jammu has 52338 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today) with 661 active positive cases, 50545recoveries (including 33 cases recovered today), 1132 deaths; Udhampur has 11128 positive cases (including 02cases reported today), 92active positive cases, 10905 recoveries (including17 cases recovered today)and131deaths; Rajouri has 10662 positive cases (including 15 cases reported today)with 206active positive, 10237recoveries (including 27 cases recovered today)and 219deaths; Doda has 6751 positive cases (including 10cases reported today)with292Active positive, 6347recovered (including 231 cases recovered today)and 112 deaths; Kathua has 9190 positive cases (including 10 cases reported today), 44 active positive cases, 8997recovered(including 15 cases recovered today) and 149deaths; Kishtwar has 4413 positive cases (including 13 cases reported today)with 131 Active Positive, 4240 recoveries (including 08 cases recovered today)and42 deaths; Samba has 7052 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today)with 60 active positive cases, 6874recoveries (including 09 cases recovered today) and 118 deaths; Poonch has 6058 positive cases (including 14 cases reported today)with269active positive, 5701recoveries (including 12 cases recovered today)and 88 deaths; Ramban has 5800 positive cases (including 12cases reported today)with125 active positive cases, 5612 recoveries (including 08 cases recovered today) and 63 deaths while Reasi has 5772 positive (including 19 cases reported today)with 228 active positive cases, 5502 recoveries (including15 cases recovered today)and 42 deaths.
According to the bulletin, among the total 314316 positive cases in J&K, 22179have been reported as travelers while 292112as others.
The Bulletin said that the breakup represents districts from which the patients have been traced or are ordinarily residing.
