Authorities in Srinagar ordered the closure of the J&K Bank branch Qamarwari for at least five days on Saturday after nine of its employees tested positive for COVID-19 the day before.
Quoting an official, news agency KNO reported that the branch has been closed upon directions by DC Srinagar who also happens to be the DDMA Chairman.
The official said that all the primary and secondary contacts of the infected employees have been advised to self—isolate and quarantine themselves.
