Northlines News Desk | Jammu Tawi, August 24: The Voters Corner will hold the “Meet the Candidate” session in its Voters Meet on 26th August, 2021 at 12.15 O’clock at the Lawyers’ Chambers Building.
Advocate HC Jalmaria, the Convener of Voters Corner said that this is a unique feature in the Jammu Bar where all the contesting candidates are invited in a General Meet of Voters and the candidates explain their respective manifestos and also reply to questions put by the voters from common platform.
Jalmeria appealed to all the members of the Jammu Bar and the contesting candidates to participate in the voters meet, see the presentation and contents of the manifestos of candidates. This would enable the voters to make appropriate choices at the time of casting their vote.
Pertinent to mention that the Voters Corner has been organizing such Voters’ Meet a couple days before the election date of the Jammu Bar for the past 35 years. The previous such meet was held in April 2019.
