Governor, CM condole Jayalalithaa's demise
Jammu Tawi, Decemeber 06: Governor N.N. Vohra has expressed grief over the sad demise of Ms. Jayalalitha Jayaraman, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
In a message of condolence the Governor described her as a popular leader who has left an indelible impression on the Indian politics. He prayed for the peace to the departed soul and conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family.
Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti in her message has expressed shock and grief over the passing away of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, J. Jayalalithaa.
The Chief Minister described Jayalalithaa as a leader of masses who would be remembered long for introducing many innovative schemes and programmes for public welfare. She said the late leader was one of the highly learned politicians of the country.
In her condolence message to the newly elected Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, O. Panneerselvam, the Chief Minister said J. Jayalalithaa was an example personified of women empowerment who brought a unique style to country's politics.
