Five cops injured as vehicle turns turtle in north Kashmir’s Kunzer

    Officials claimed five police officers, including an Assistant Sub Inspector, were hurt on Saturday after the vehicle they were traveling in went turtle in the Kunzer area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

    Quoting the officials, news agency GNS reported that the accident took place near Pinjoora village of Kunzer after the driver lost control over the mobile bunker of Special Operation Group (SOG).

    The injured have been identified as ASI Harvander Singh, driver Mukhtar Ahmad, a SPO, SPO Ajaz Ahmad, constable Firdous Ahmad and SPO Imtiyaz Ahmad.

    Confirming the accident, a police officer told GNS that the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Magam for treatment.

    Two of them-Ajaz Ahmad and Imtiyaz Ahmad—have been referred to SMHS hospital here for further treatment, he added.
