Encouraging participation in Srinagar, Udhampur Boxing

, Feb 28: J&K Amateur Boxing Association organised district championships for district Srinagar and Udhampur at Indoor Complex, Bakshi Stadium and Mini Stadium, Udhampur.

In the closing function at Srinagar, Deputy Manager Maqsood Ahmad Khan was chief guest while at Udhampur, Swaran Singh (BJP leader) presented medals.

The competition held under the supervision of Farooq Ahmad, Shabnam Malik Sahil (PET), Zahoor Ahmad, Adil Khan and Tariq Angar Haroon at Srinagar. At Udhampur, Rajneesh Kumar, Gautam Kumar and Pardeep Sharma were officials.

 

The Results:

SRINAGAR: Sub Junior girls: 33 kg Horain, Ist; Rakshita Sadaf, 2nd and Aqsa Showkat, 3rd. 48-50 kg: Iqra Zehra, Ist; Hafsa, 2nd and Aleena, 3rd.

60-63 kg: Bareena, Ist and  Zainab, 2nd.

Junior Girls: 48-51 kg: Mahrukh, Ist; Maniya, 2nd. 52-56 kg: Aiman, Ist and Nisha Yonus, 2nd. 60-64 kg: Aisha Riaz, Ist; Sameejeet Kour, 2nd.

Youth Girls: 48-50 kg: Suraya, Ist; Toiba, 2nd. 50-52 kg: Muskan Zehra, Ist and Aisha Fayaz, 2nd.

Senior Girls: 48-51 kg: Sahiba, Ist and Mehak, 2nd. 52-56 kg: Kibriya, Ist; Naira, 2nd and Mabiya, 3rd. 60 63 kg: Aayat, Ist and Sana Paul, 2nd.

BOYS: Sub Junior: 28-30 kg: Aadian Qayoom, Ist; Hanie Haider, 2nd and Nihaan Qayoom, 3rd. 30-32 kg: Ammar Ali Bhat, Ist; Hamazah Aijaz Pandit, 2nd and Eyaan Ejaz Bhat, 3rd. 32-34 kg: Ikhlak Parveez, Ist; Zuhaib Showkat, 2nd and Zeeshan Manzoor and Karthik Saran, joint 3rd. 46 Kg: Zohrain, Ist; Binyami, 2nd and Aafan Pandit, 3rd. 52 kg: Shayan, Ist; Munaam Mushtaq, 2nd; Mohd Fariq and Riyan Ashraf Pandit, joint 3rd.

Youth: 66-79 kg: Haidi Hussain Khan, Ist; Sameed Deen, 2nd; Mohd Haziq Khan, 3rd. 70-75 kg: Faheem Anjum, Ist; Numan Aftab, 2nd and Atisham Wani, 3rd.
