People of and have faced great inconveniences and difficulties because of the unprecedented strike of the power development employees. It is for the first time that the employees went on strike thus has put the people of the union territory to severe hardships. The striking employees should realize that no one in the government service has an inborn right to land the people in trouble for forcing the government to accede the demands of the employees. The unprecedented strike of the power employees is against the public interest as it has led the common people to lot of inconveniences and trouble. The power employees have only earned ire , grief and anger of the masses  by observing the strike. People and government employees have the right to go on peaceful strike for projecting their genuine demands to the government but have no right and license to land the people in trouble. Unfortunately the power employees have taken law into their hands and have snapped the power supply to the people and the vital institutions and this way they have only been successful in landing the people to untold sufferings and trouble for no fault of their own.  The people of the UT have faced and the brunt of the blackout forced  by the strike of the power employees. Power supply is an essential service and no one should be allowed to tinker with this service as it results in the inconveniences and sufferings to the masses and for this the employees should be made liable and they should have to explain their obdurate behavior of snapping the power supply to the people and more so to the vital installations. While it is the democratic right of the government employees to go on the peaceful strike and put their genuine demands and grievances before the government but they have no right to put people to trouble and in the present case the employees of the power development department have indulged in unlawful activity and have landed people in trouble by snapping the power supply to the people and to the vital installations. This way the power employees have been successful only in adding vows to the general masses and this way they cannot browbeat the LG administration any longer. While the Jammu and Kashmir is facing the pandemic of Covid 19 and the cold, the power development employees have gone on indefinite strike at the cost of the citizens and this is of a serious concern as it affects all of us. The power supply is an essential service and no one should be allowed to tinker with this service and more so the government employees. Not only the general public is suffering due to the strike of the power employees but the aged, infirm and the patients are the worst sufferers because of snapping of the electricity by the power employees. There should be the contingency plan ready so that in the event of the strike of the essential service the contingency plan should be operated to mitigate the sufferings and troubles of the people but in this respect we are lacking. Thus the government should embark on the contingency plan in such circumstances to ease the sufferings of the innocent people but in this respect we are unfortunately lacking and thus the people continue to suffer. The employees of the power department who are on the strike should realize that they have no inborn right to put people in trouble and therefore they should restore the power supply to all the households ,factories and above all to the vital installations. The power development employees may go on peaceful strike without snapping the power supply and the people of the UT will support their strike but by snapping the power supply they have offended the masses who have raising against the striking employees and this goes against the interests of the striking employees. The striking employees of the power department  should  restore the power supply on their own and earn the confidence of the general masses and for this it is essential that they should restore the snapped power supply at an earliest to mitigate the sufferings of the people who are suffering due to the deliberate snapping of the power service by the power employees. People of the UT are suffering a lot of inconvenience and troubles due to the strike of power employees and thus for public good the power employees should restore the power supply at an earliest to give a sigh of relief to the affected people. The LGs administration deserves all praise and kudos for their act of restoration of the power supply within minimum of the time. The LG administration has called the army and has taken their help in the restoration of the electric supply to the people and to the vital installations within shortest possible time. Thus has the administration been successful in restoring the power supply to the households and the vital installations. In this modern age of digital the electricity is very essential and without it the working of the government offices, hospitals schools ,banks suffers a lot and the people face hardship because of the snapping of the electric supply. Both the government and private establishments and factories and industries suffer because of the lack of electricity caused by the strike of the power employees and thus the power employees should not indulge in the snapping of the power supply while being on strike but instead ensure the 24hour power supply to the homes, hospitals and factories and in this lies the good of all the people including the power employees. In the present case of the strike of the power employees it is the LG administration which has come to the rescue of the general people by calling the army and taking their help in the restoration of the electric supply in a very short time. Thus has the administration been successful in restoring the snapped power supply to the people and the vital installations otherwise the people will continue to suffer the untold misery due to the snapping of the power supply. Therefore the LG administration deserves all praise for its quick response to the peoples sufferings as it has been successful in restoring the power supply in the shortest possible time and has thus mitigated the difficulties and sufferings of the innocent people who have been forced to land in trouble because of the unprecedented   strike of the power development employee. It is so good that the power employees have called off their indefinite strike in response to the telecast of the LG and have resumed the work of restoration of the power supply and the credit for this goes to the LG administration. Without the quick action and response of the administration the people of the UT would have continued to suffer for the want of the electricity but the LG administration has worked hard to restore the much needed electricity in the shortest possible time with the help of the army and this is a commendable job and for this feat the administration deserves all appreciation and praise as without the timely help and intervention of the administration people of the UT  would have continued to suffers the hardships but the timely action of the LG administration has given a succor to the people by its timely action. Now sixty percent power supply has been restored and the people have taken a sigh of relief as the much needed and essential service of power has been restored to the people. It is a welcome development that the power employees have call off their strike and they came to the rescue of the common  man. In no circumstance  the power employees should snap the electricity supply to the people as it is an essential service and this way they are liable to be penalized for their act of obstructing the power supply to the people and thus they should desist from snapping the power supply to the people. Anyway the LG administration deserves a salute for its timely action of restoring the electric supply to the vital installations and the people in the shortest possible time. Hats off to the LG administration for its quick response to mitigate the peoples' sufferings by restoring of the power supply.
