Jammu Tawi: Sunil Dimple, president Mission Statehood, led a protest rally on Janipur High Court Road against the ongoing attacks on Hindu temples, houses, and religious minorities in Bangladesh and Pakistan. The protesters burned effigies of both Pakistan and Bangladesh, as well as the Shrine Board, as part of their demonstration. The rally was sparked by rising concerns over the attacks on Hindu religious minorities, including killings and the destruction of temples and homes in Bangladesh and Pakistan. Dimple condemned the violence and alleged that Hindus in both countries were being systematically targeted, with reports of the Bangladesh Army killing Hindus, mutilating their bodies, and destroying religious sites.

Addressing the crowd, Dimple claimed that both Hindu and Muslim students from Jammu and Kashmir were unsafe in Bangladesh, with minority Hindus facing severe persecution, including public hangings and forced religious conversions. He also criticized the construction of the ropeway project in Katra, calling for its immediate halt, and demanded that Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, and the administration intervene to stop the project.

Dimple emphasized the need for the government to take into account the concerns of local traders, including pithu walas, khachar walas, and hoteliers, before proceeding further with the project. He warned that any injustice to the people of Katra, particularly its traders, would not be tolerated.

He warned the governments of Pakistan and Bangladesh, as well as their military forces, that Indians would not tolerate further violence against Hindus or the destruction of temples and homes in these nations.

Prominent leaders such as Vipan Mahajan, Dev Raj, Ram Kumar Das, Mikes, Vicky, Ashok Sharma, and Nitin Saini were also present at the rally, lending their support to the cause.
