Construction work at Bari Brahmna launched

SAMBA, JULY 17: The Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today launched construction works of three lanes at Kartholi, Block Bari Brahmana.

The works have been undertaken by Rural Development Department under convergence of Constituency Development Fund and MG-NREGA schemes.

The Minister informed that the entire Bazigar Basti would be covered by a network of 9 lanes and work on remaining 6 lanes shall also be taken up soon. He highlighted the good quality of works being undertaken and said that the government has given priority   to improvement of sanitation, , water and power supply to improve living standard of people both in rural and urban areas.

Later, the Minister also interacted with locals and assured them that their genuine demands would be met on priority.

The Minister was accompanied by ACD Samba Tilak Raj, SDM Vijaypur Ravinder Sharma, BDO Bari Brahmana Aijaz Qaiser and other officials.
