Core group discusses current situation

Tawi, July 17: BJP ministers who attended the party's core group meeting had to undergo an embarrassing time as they were questioned on many important administrative issues.

Party workers and other leaders came openly before the central ministers and leaders alleging that the party had chosen wrong persons for the Cabinet as most of them were either ignorant about administrative acumen and remained unaware of important decisions while others who pretended to be educated had conceded their integrity to -centric issues.

Situation has further gone to the extent that even MLAs and MLCs leveled serious charges against their ministers. An MLA openly expressed his grudge saying that ministers do not listen to their complaints generally connected to the problems of their constituencies. He alleged that Power has gone Ministers heads and they are behaving rudely and arrogantly.

Another MLC bursts that not even a single issue pertaining to the welfare of Jammu region was ever taken up by these ministers in the Cabinet. Whatever came up against Jammu, they were the first to support it.

It was also expressed that due to childish behavior and misleading statements of BJP leaders kept the nation in the dark. It is a hard reality that for the first time in the history of Amarnath yatra, pilgrims are facing problems and the blame for this goes to the BJP ministers, who are part of the coalition government,” said Sangh Parivar stalwart Leela Karan Sharma while referring to a statement of Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh denying any attack on vehicles of Amarnath yatris.

After the turmoil engulfed Jammu and Kashmir affecting the smooth conduct of Shri Amarnath Yatra, the state BJP has held today an extended core group meeting.

It was attended by BJP Vice-President & J&K Prabhari Avinash Rai Khanna, National Secretary Farooq Khan, Union MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh, Dy. He said that the party at the national level too is keeping eye on the whole situation and the Union government has also ensured to provide every kind of help to the state government for restoring peace and normalcy. Sat Sharma, on behalf of the state unit of BJP, appealed the people of Kashmir in particular to maintain peace and harmony and extend every possible help in ensuring that there is no further violence or law & order problem.
