Jammu Tawi, Feb 18: The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Armed Range, Jammu, Dr. Vinod Kumar on Tuesday asked police personnel to maintain alert and vigil on activities of anti-national elements.
The DIG, along with Commandant JKAP-6th Battalion, SSP Tahir Sajjad Bhat, visited Company Headquarters and addressed a Darbar.
He listened to the grievances of the jawans and passed appropriate directions to resolve them.
The DIG Armed Police Jammu also visited and inspected the Battalion Headquarters at Behra in Mendhar, read a handout.
It was said that around 100 officers and jawans attended the Darbar, and while briefing them, he stressed maintaining alertness and keeping vigil on the activities of anti-national elements in view of the security scenario of the area.
He also told the Jawans to carry out physical activities to stay healthy and also directed them to wear proper pattern uniform.
He assured the Commandant and his team that all the infrastructure-related issues will be taken up with senior formations.
He also told them that as they have attended courses for New Criminal Laws and requested them to further learn these laws.
The DIG AP also asked Commandant that regular medical check-up of all Jawans should be carried out so that any ailing officials are identified and properly treated.
