Arrangements for SSB exams finalized

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Arun Manhas convened a meeting to finalise the arrangements for various examinations to be conducted by J&K Service Selection Board (JKSSB), here today. The meeting was attended by SDMs, Tehsildars, representatives of various educational institutions and other concerned officers. It was given out in the meeting that JKSSB is conducting examinations for the post of Naib Tehsildars on 21st, 28th and 29th of this month. During the meeting, threadbare discussion was held regarding the posting of staff, examination observers, seating and other necessary facilities. Speaking on the occasion, ADC said that designated zonal magistrates and magistrates will ensure lifting of examination material from JKSSB Central Office and handing over to the head of institutions before examination and collection of the same from examination centre to JKSSB office in their supervision. He further asked the concerned to ensure that no mobile phones are allowed in the examination centres and to provide conducive to the candidates with provision of adequate seating, lighting and drinking water arrangements.
