Dr Shamim Ahmad Wani, Special Secretary to Government, Finance Department, and former Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, died of COVID-19 at GMC Jammu, according to officials.
Quoting a senior doctor, news agency GNS reported that the 54-year-old 1999 batch officer, who was admitted was admitted to GMC Jammu with COVID-19 recently, breathed his last at around 11:30 hours.
