Cloudburst on Friday morning caused considerable damage without loss to human life in many villages in Goha area of Marmath Doda.
With agricultural land destroyed and connecting roads blocked, the affected villagers have taken shelter in their homes .The cloudburst in Goha area damaged roads , agricultural land and the suspension bridge which leads to the area is also under threat which is posing major hardships in the movement of people but Indian Army had lunched rescue operation in whole area and are constructing paths and removing stones from roads , BDO Marmath Yasir Wani informed.
He also informed that there is no loss of life and a team from the administration left for the affected villages to assess the damage wreaked. Some Panchayat representatives have complained about the failure to provide rations in villages that have lost road links.
