Progress of Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls reviewed

Additional Deputy Commissioner Shopian Shabir Hussain Bhat today chaired a meeting to review the progress of Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls of Shopian district here today at Mini Secretariat Arhama.
During the meeting threadbare discussion was held on the revision of electoral rolls, filing claims and objections for addition, deletion and correction of entries.
On the occasion, ADC directed BLO’s that all eligible voters who have attained the age of 18 years should be registered in their concerned electoral rolls within the stipulated time, so that they can exercise their franchise at the time of polling. He impressed upon the EROs and AERO’S to monitor the progress of enrolments in order that all eligible electors are registered in the Electoral Rolls.
