The Protocol Clash: Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary vs. MLA R.S. Pathania

There is an ongoing political standoff between MLA R.S. Pathania and National Conference (NC) Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary. During a recent visit to Udhampur’s Majalta which falls under the assembly constituency of MLA R.S. Pathania the Deputy CM inaugurated several development works and hosted scheduled programs. However, he completely sidelined and ignored the local MLA.

This is a direct insult to the protocol and dignity of an elected Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA).

In response to this blatant disrespect, MLA R.S. Pathania has now filed a formal Privilege Motion Complaint with the Assembly Speaker, Abdul Rahim Rather, against Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary.

Meanwhile, Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary seems constantly busy blowing his own trumpet and indulging in self-praise.

Rebellion Within: Corruption Charges Leveled in the MLA Meeting

On the other hand, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah recently convened a meeting with all his party MLAs. In that very meeting, and right in the presence of the Chief Minister himself, the party’s own lawmakers openly labeled the Deputy CM as “corrupt.” Despite these heavy allegations being hurled at him in the legislative party meeting, the Deputy CM had no answers and remained silent.

So much is unraveling in Jammu and Kashmir, yet our Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, chooses to remain a silent spectator. Serious allegations are being made, and corruption is seemingly hitting the roof. Some political leaders have even claimed that they possess concrete evidence of this corruption.

The Big Question: Why is the Chief Minister maintaining his silence ? Such blatant misconduct and lack of accountability never used to happen under previous governments.

The Pir Panjal Boycott: Isolated by His Own Party

The cracks in the administration became even more obvious yesterday during the Deputy CM’s tour of the Pir Panjal region. His own party’s MLAs completely boycotted his visit and refused to show up.

This incident makes it crystal clear what is brewing behind the scenes. Yet, the Chief Minister seems to be turning a blind eye to the chaos within his own ranks.

Conclusion: Is Silence a Sign of Complicity ?

Why is Omar Abdullah so quiet? When so much is happening right under his nose and he still chooses to say nothing, it naturally leads to only one conclusion
