Srinagar, Jan 7: The Counter Intelligence wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday conducted raids at multiple locations across the Kashmir Valley in connection with an ongoing cyber terror investigation, officials said.
The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) launched a major crackdown targeting mule accounts, as authorities intensified action against networks allegedly facilitating cyber fraud and terror financing. As part of the operation, raids were carried out at 22 locations across the Valley, including 15 sites in Srinagar city.
Officials said the searches were linked to the wider probe into cyber terror activities and financial channels supporting unlawful operations. Further details in the matter were awaited, they added.
