Reportedly, various units of army and local police are on job to track down terrorists after the local community in Bhattal area of Akhnoor sector has informed about the suspicious movements in the Jogiwan forest area. The security forces have deployed drones and other latest equipment besides the sniffer dogs to sanitize the area.
It is for sure that the terror mongers on the run will be tracked down soon but what is troubling the security agencies is continuation of infiltration despite multifaceted measures and multi-pronged strategy adopted to stop this menace leading to terrorism in the region.
As the problem of infiltration is haunting the security agencies, it has become vital to strengthen border surveillance through advanced technology like drones, sensors, and night-vision equipment by installing such systems round the clock. Besides, enhanced synergy between intelligence agencies working at different levels is significant to thwart plans of the enemy to send mercenaries to this side of the borders to vitiate peace.
Although many steps have been taken to strengthen the physical infrastructure along the borders like building strong fences and barriers, there are still gaps which are required to be plugged in, especially near water bodies and the places supporting tunnels.
Above all, the top level of human surveillance is the most important factor to contain this menace to end terrorism in J&K. The stakeholders should always believe that nothing is impossible because this faith will enable them to stop infiltration because positivity gives birth to strong resolve, which is a must for accomplishing jobs considered to be the most difficult ones.
