Jammu Tawi, Nov 30: Movement Kalki, now on its 41st day of protest, met with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Organization Secretary Ashok Kaul today, submitting a memorandum demanding the recognition of cows as “National Mothers” and stronger protections for their welfare.

The delegation, led by Pritam Sharma (Advisor) and Vikram Mahajan (Board Member), outlined several key demands, including granting cows the status of “National Mother,” enacting comprehensive nationwide laws for their protection, and the establishment of both a Cow Welfare Board and a Sanatan Board to ensure cultural preservation. They also called for the construction of more cow shelters across the country to ensure their protection and proper care.

Kaul praised the movement’s efforts, acknowledging that while some states have taken steps to protect cows, more needs to be done at the national level. He emphasized the importance of stringent penalties for those involved in animal cruelty.

The delegation also submitted memorandums to all BJP-elected legislators, urging them to bring the issue to Parliament. Movement Kalki warned that failure to address their demands could affect the voting decisions of their supporters in future elections.

Movement Kalki has vowed to continue their protest until their demands are met, reaffirming their commitment to safeguarding cows and preserving the cultural heritage of Sanatan traditions.
