Arnia Police distributes volleyball kits, appeals youth to stay away from drugs

Tawi, Sept 28: Arnia Police distributed volleyball kits among youth with a view to engage them towards . In continuous efforts towards policing at
grass root level, a programme was organised at Police Station Arnia. The programme was attended by youth from different Panchayats of Arnia.
The programme was organised under the leadership of SHO Police Station Arnia Inspector Sumeet Sharma and assisted by PSI Mohd Ilyas on the directions
of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh, SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta and SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli.
During the program, the youth were sensitised about various aspects of drug abuse and their adverse effects on , family and society.
While speaking, SHO Arnia Inspector Sumeet Sharma motivated the youth to divert their energy by participating in sports activities being organised by J&K
Police and other associations.
He added that J&K Police is also organising various sports activities to engage the youth towards sports.
On the occasion, five volleyball kits were also distributed among the five volleyball teams of different Panchayats.
Incharge Border Police Post (BPP) Treva PSI Divanshu, Incharge BPP Ala SI Jaipal and Incharge BPP Sai ASI Purshotam were also present on the
occasion.
