Jammu Tawi, Nov 30: Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday witnessed 171 fresh positive cases taking the number of total active cases in the Union Territory to 1,625, while no death was reported in last 24 hours.
With no more death, the death toll in the UT stands at 4,476 and 171 fresh positive cases reported on Tuesday have pushed the tally of positive cases to 336,852.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,625 including 1,334 from Kashmir division and 291 from Jammu division.
With 172 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 330,751 which is 98.18 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 62 from Srinagar, 42 from Baramulla, 16 from Budgam, 01 from Pulwama, 05 from Kupwara, 01 from Anantnag, 03 from Bandipora, 09 from Ganderbal, 00 from Kulgam and 00 from Shopian in Kashmir division while as 32 from Jammu division include 18 from Jammu, 02 from Udhampur, 02 from Rajouri, 01 from Doda, 03 from Kathua, 00 from Samba, 00 from Kishtwar, 03 from Poonch, 01 from Ramban and 02 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities on Tuesday said that no fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and tally stands at 49.
