Relaxation in age limit for Sub-Inspectors recruitment

    Jammu Tawi, Nov 10: Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday relaxed the upper age limit for the aspirants interested in the recruitment of sub inspectors.
    The officer of the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha tweeted, “Following representation from various delegations, the Govt has taken a decision to provide one-time age relaxation for aspirants in recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in @JmuKmrPolice.”
    “The Upper age limit increased from 28 to 30 years and number of UT cadre posts also enhanced from 800 to 1200,” said the LG office.
    Age relaxation was one of the major demands of aspirants claiming that two years period has already lapsed in view of COVID pandemic.
    The aspirants were demanding upper age limit relaxation from 30 years to 35 years.
