Mayor starts macamadization work in W. 29 Rajpura

Jammu Tawi, Nov 9: The citizens of Jammu, Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu alongwith Surnider Singh Chowdhary Councillor of ward no. 29 today kick started the macamadization work in lane no.17  & its adjoining areas near Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Rajpura Mangotharian of Ward no.29.  Mukesh Gupta Junior Engineer & other supervisory staff of Engg. Division –II JMC, Booth presidents namely Hira Lal, Suresh Gupta & Som Nath of the ward no.29, as well as other Prominent inhabitants of Rajpura Mangotharian and its adjoining localities Pardeeep Sharma, Kewal Verma, Girdhari Lal,  Mangal Dass, Atul Bakshi were also accompanied the mayor during the function. Mayor told that it was the long pending demands of the locals as well as president of Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Rajpura as it is a thorough fare which connects with the main Rajpura chowk & people were facing great hardships due to deteriorated condition of the lane. He further added that the concerned councillor of the ward has taken keen interest & after his sincere efforts, this much awaited black topping work has been started today by the engineering wing of JMC with an allotted amount of Rupees Eight lakh only and assured the locals that all the remaining lanes leading to this sabha will be got macamadized in a phased manner. President of the Shree Ravi Dass Sabha, Rajpura also thanked the mayor & his team for visiting the area & redressing their issues.
