Mayor inaugurates Vatika in Ward No.9

Jammu Tawi, Nov 8:  Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu City along with Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC today inaugurated a Vatika by upgrading the already existing one just in front of Hari Palace Hotel on main road opposite Manda.  Suneet Kumar Raina, Councilor of Ward no. 9,  Dinesh Gupta Councilor of Ward no. 18, Booth Presidents of Ward no. 9 namely Amit Singh,  Neeraj Katoch, Tahir, Shakher Soni, Deepak Kumar, Madan Lal & other prominent inhabitants namely Kuldeep Mahajan, Sanjay Sharma, Raghunandan, Mitu Kumar as well as Anil Kumar Gupta Executive Engineer Project Division, Raman Kapahi Assistant Executive Engineer (Project Division) & other supervisory staff of Health Section of JMC were also present during the inauguration function.  Mayor told that vatika was built for many senior citizens as well as general public passes through the area for morning/evening walk on daily basis and during bad weather they face great hardships due to non availability of proper shed/ sitting arrangements in the area and in order to provide relief to them. The work has been executed by the project division of JMC with an estimate amount of Rs 9 Lakhs only.
