SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 09: The Jammu and Kashmir Police has invited online applications for filling up 5381 posts of Constables in various wings of the police. The vacancies include 4340 in IRP, 655 in Executive Police and 386 in Armed Police.
As per the detailed Advertisement issued by the Director General Police in this regard, the selection of Constables will be made at the district level and the last date for submission of completed application forms is 20 November 2016. The candidates intending to apply for the post of Constable should be Matriculate and should be not less than 18 years and more than 28 years of age.
The selection of Constables, as per the advertisement, would be made through a transparent recruitment process involving Physical Endurance Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST) and Written Test.
