Wreath laying ceremony for RPF Cop held at Sgr

To pay honour and respect to the slain HC Surinder Kumar of Railway Protection Force, who was killed yesterday in an attack outside Railway Station Kakapora area of Pulwama, a wreath laying ceremony was held at District Police Lines Srinagar on Tuesday.

A statement issued reads that Civil & Police Officers led by DG GRPF Sanjay Chander & IGP Vijay Kumar laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains & paid rich tributes to the slain for his supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.

Among others, DIG CKR Srinagar Sujit Kumar, DIG CRPF North Randeep Kumar Raina, DIG CRPF South Mathew A. John, SSP Srinagar Rakesh Balwal, SSP Railways Kashmir Harmeet Singh and other officers & officials of Police and Security forces paid rich floral tributes to the slain.

“We pay our rich tributes to the slain for his supreme sacrifice made in the line of duty and stand by his family at this crucial juncture.”
