Worcestershire cricketer Josh Baker passes away at 20


The community was left shocked by the sudden demise of Worcestershire left-arm spinner Josh Baker, who passed away recently at the young age of 20. Born in Redditch, Baker was considered a promising talent who had come up through the ranks at his county club. He had represented England at the under-19 level and signed a long-term contract with Worcestershire last year after overcoming a back injury.

Baker was tragically found unresponsive by a friend at his home after failing to answer calls. He had turned out for his county just days ago, taking three wickets in their second XI match.
