Dehri-on-Sone, Sep 18: union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah today alleged that recent ” Voter Adhikar Yatra ” taken out by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Bihar, was not to raise the issue of ” vote theft ” but it his attempt to protect infiltrators from Bangladesh and other countries, who are residing in India.
Shah while addressing BJP leaders and workers of his party of Shahabad and Magadh regions here, said that Gandhi had taken out ” Voter Adhikar Yatra ” recently in the name of ” vote theft ” but in reality, it was his attempt to protect infiltrators from Bangladesh and other countries who had crossed the border illegally and were residing in India.
No, not at all the motive of ” Voter Adhikar Yatra ” for raising the issue of ” vote theft”, he thundered adding the people of India particularly Bihar would not tolerate infiltrators availing services being provided by Government for its own countrymen.
“A number of welfare schemes have been launched by the government for our countrymen including free treatment facilities for poor upto maximum of Rs 5 lakhs per year,” BJP leader said and asked whether these facilities should be extended to infiltrators.
On being asked, all present in the meeting said no in chorous. Name of no eligible person had been deleted from voters’ list during Special Intensive Revision(SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar, he stressed.
“Has name of anyone present in the meeting, been deleted from voters’ list,” Shah asked but no one from the audience replied in affirmative.
He cautioned the people against sinister design of Gandhi and other opposition leaders against their sinister design of snatching their facilities for intruders.
“Gandhi cannot live in India for six months continuously as he takes break for visiting abroad,”
BJP leader said adding that on the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had been continuously working for the last 24 years as Chief Minister of Gujarat and Prime Minister of the country.
Modi had never taken leave of even a single day during the period of 24 years, he pointed out.
