Two women arrested for stealing an infant in Kupwara

Baramulla, July 10:  and police on Friday arrested two women for stealing an infant from district hospital, Handwara in north Kashmir district of Kupwara, official sources said.

Panic gripped in district hospital at Handwara when a new born was found missing from a ward.

Immediately police was informed and a massive hunt was launched to trace the missing infant.

Hospital staff and police swung into action and finally two women were apprehended after infant was recovered from their possession.

Police has registered a case and initiated further investigation, they said.
