Asks J&K unit to work relentlessly for the poor and needy
New Delhi, Sept 18: Taranjit Singh Tony, AAP leader and District Development Council (DDC) Member Suchetgarh, while asserting that service of common people is the essence of the philosophy of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), appealed to the party workers of Jammu and Kashmir to work relentlessly for the common people especially the poor and needy with full dedication and absolute honesty.
He expressed this after attending the first Jan Pratinidhi Sammelan of AAP at New Delhi. He was leading a team of Sarpanchs of Jammu and Kashmir to this significant mega convention of the people's representatives.
It is pertinent to mention here that Chief Guest at the Jan Pratinidhi Sammelan was Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal while as Manish Sisodia Dy. CM Delhi; Sanjay Singh, Rajya Sabha Member; Gopal Rai Ji, Cabinet Minister Delhi and President Aap Delhi; Pankaj Gupta National General Secretary; Harpal Singh Cheema Finance Minister Punjab and Durgesh Pathak Prabhari J&K were the Guests of Honour and shared the dais.
In the first Jan Pratinidhi Sammelan of AAP, Delhi CM Kejriwal highlighted the salient features of ‘Operation Lotus' and discussed with the party representatives the future roadmap to expand and strengthen the party across the country. He asked the party workers including the PRI members to reach out to the people in every nook and corner of the nation and address the concerns of the people.
CM Punjab Baghwant Maan and Dy.CM Delhi Manish Sisodia in their address further suggested that area specific strategies be adopted to make the people aware about the ideology of AAP besides the achievements of the AAP Govts in Punjab and Delhi so that people realize the need to bring AAP to power in other states of the nation. Both the leaders while lauding the performance of the workers thanked all the participants for making it possible to attend this significant Sammelan.
Meanwhile, TS Tony appealed to the J&K unit party workers to work relentlessly for the downtrodden, poor and needy with full dedication. He conveyed to the senior most party leaders that the party has already expanded its area of influence in J&K Union Territory substantially.
