Tiger Division organizes blood donor fortnight

To commemorate the Blood Donation Day, the Tiger Division is organising a blood donation fortnight with camps at its Satwari, Damana, Miran Sahib, Sunjwan and BD Bari Garrisons between 14 – 26 Jun 2018. The World Blood Donor Day is celebrated every year on 14 Jun. The curtain raiser at Satwari Garrison on the day evoked a tremendous response across the entire spectrum consisting of officers, soldiers & families voluntarily donating their blood. A total of 82 units of all blood groups were collected on the first day. Such events reaffirm the dedication of the Army towards the well being of the humanity across the nation and its conduct in all the Garrisons of Tiger Division was a part of the Formation's endeavour to engage with community and support all levels of and social service.
