POONCH, Dec 4: Terrorists hurled two grenades at an Army post in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir early Wednesday, officials said. While one grenade exploded, the other failed to detonate and was later defused by experts.
The attack took place behind an Army camp in the Surankote area. No casualties were reported in the incident. The safety pin of the exploded grenade was found near the perimeter wall of the Army camp, authorities said.
Following the attack, security forces launched a massive search operation in the area to track down the terrorists, who managed to flee after the assault. The Army and police are actively engaged in efforts to locate the perpetrators.
