    Jammu Tawi: The Red Ribbon Club of Government Degree College (GDC) Paloura organized a Slogan Writing Competition to observe World AIDS Day, under the guidance of Dr. Kulvinder Kour, Principal of the College. The theme of the competition was “My Health, My Right!” aimed at raising awareness about HIV/AIDS, one of the most tabooed diseases in society.

    The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of all semesters, who also tied the iconic Red Ribbon symbol to show their support for HIV/AIDS patients. The competition was organized by the members of the Red Ribbon Club to engage youth and educate them about HIV/AIDS prevention and support. The competition was judged by Prof. Amit Bhalla, Prof. Vijay Kumari, and Dr. Shivani Sharma. Janshee secured the first position, followed by Payal Chib in second place and Manisha Devi in third.

    Dr. Kulvinder Kour, Principal of the college, appreciated the efforts of the organizers for conducting such creative activities to raise awareness and engage students in important social issues.
