Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy conducted a week long capsule training course for 30 Assistant Directors of Forest Protection Force of Jammu and Kashmir Forest department. The course was inaugurated by the Director SKPA, Mohammad Sulaiman Salaria, ADGP.
The course was conducted with an aim to provided training for Inter and Intra departmental behaviour, filing of charge sheets in civil and criminal matters, handling and firing from small arms, outdoor training, Investigation of cases related to forest offences, relevant sections of RPC/Cr.PC/Evidence Act/ Local and special laws concerning the the duties of the officers of Forest Protection Force. Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Sulaiman Salaria expressed satisfaction over the successful conduct of course and stressed upon the officers to implement the knowledge and skill that they gained from the course in saving the forests from being plundered and destroyed by the unscrupulous elements and also bring the offenders of the forest under justice.
Certificates and mementos were also distributed by Director Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur among the participants.
