Rozgar Mela: PM Modi distributes over 51,000 government job appointment letters

New Delhi, Oct 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday emphasized the empowerment of India’s youth, stating that even the country’s foreign policy is increasingly shaped with their interests in mind. Speaking via a recorded message at the 17th Rozgar Mela, Modi called India “the youngest nation in the world” and highlighted youth as one of the country’s greatest assets.

During the event, more than 51,000 appointment letters for government jobs were handed over, adding to the over 11 lakh recruitment letters distributed across Rozgar Melas nationwide so far.

Modi noted that India has forged investment partnerships with several European countries and signed agreements with nations like Brazil, Singapore, South Korea, and Canada to support startups, MSMEs, and exports, creating new employment opportunities for the youth.

The prime minister also cited the recent reduction in GST rates as a significant reform benefiting citizens while expanding avenues for job creation and economic growth.

“Empowering the youth is a priority of the BJP-led NDA government,” Modi said, stressing the government’s focus on training, employment, and global engagement for young Indians. (Agencies)
