ROB Jammu to organize exhibition on freedom fighters

    Jammu Tawi: Regional Outreach Bureau, Jammu, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India is organising eight day multimedia exhibition on ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav’ at Government Higher Secondary School, Katra. The eight day multimedia exhibition starting today will be displaying the freedom fighters, their life, and struggle during the freedom movement of India through digital displays and interactive inter-phases to engage public including students at large.

    The Principal Director General, Bureau of Outreach and Communication, Satyendra Prakash will inaugurate the multimedia exhibition.

    The Exhibition will comprise of rare photographs, video clips, a touch panel, a photo collage and audio-visual consoles on freedom fighters. The vintage photographs of the freedom fighters and important movements during the freedom struggle have also been included in the exhibition.

    The multimedia exhibition will also include display aids, selfie corners and interactive games to engage audience. Besides, a quiz competition will be organized on the occasion. The inaugural ceremony will also include cultural programmes involving cultural troupes from Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Odisha.
