Pakistan lives in its make believe world
Jammu, March 4 (KIP):- Pakistan seems to be living in a make-believe
world which is evident from the latest statement of President Mamnoon
Hussain who has claimed that Kashmir problem is likely to be solved
within one decade. Well he is right when he talks about changing
political scenario in the world but that is not sufficient for
settlement of the Kashmir issue.
What is require ed is direct positive response from Pakistan
to India's conditions which it has laid down for the resumption of
bilateral talks .Mamnoon too knows it well that without Pakistan
changing its anti-India attitude India was not prepared to reopen the
channels of dialogue. And unless the two nations talk there is no
question of settlement of the Kashmir issue.
Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain has said that great transformations
are going to occur in the world in the next decade as a result of
which Kashmir issue and many problems of the Arab world would be
resolved.. Hussein made the remarks during an interview.
“The issues of Kashmir and Palestine will remain unresolved unless
they are settled in accordance with aspirations of the people of the
regions. Kashmir dispute is not a complex issue but instead a clear
one and emphasized that Kashmir belongs to Kashmiris only,” Hussain
was quoted as saying.
He added that it is India that has always created problems in
resolving this issue and has “occupied” the region against the wishes
of the people.
“The brave people of Kashmir and Palestine are continuing their
struggle for freedom despite the continued oppression and brutalities
being perpetrated by the occupation forces,” he said.
He said that Pakistan would continue to extend support to the people
of Kashmir and Palestine in their just struggle for freedom.
Mamnoon is not aware of the brutalities being the result of
Pakistan sponsored war against India and against Jammu and Kashmir. If
the President talks about human rights violations why does he not talk
about the result of proxy war which led to all the problems and crimes
in Kashmir.(KIP)
