OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite Review: An Affordable Smartphone That Punches Above its Weight

    Date:

The latest affordable flagship from OnePlus, the Nord CE4 Lite, offers a surprising amount of bang for your buck. While not without its limitations, in key areas like design, display, battery life and cameras, the Nord CE4 Lite holds its own against even higher-priced competitors.

Right out of the box, the Nord CE4 Lite makes a strong first impression with its stylish design. The shimmering ‘Mega Blue' hue stands out in a sea of black and gray phones, while comfortable ergonomics make it a joy to hold. It feels solidly built too, instilling confidence for everyday use.

Under the hood, the trusted Snapdragon 695 chipset keeps things ticking along smoothly. Though not the most powerful on the market, it handles typical tasks like social media, browsing and lightweight gaming without issue. The silky 120Hz AMOLED display is also a treat, making even simple actions feel polished and responsive.

When it comes to capturing memories, the 50MP rear camera captures images rich in detail, while the 2MP depth sensor manages convincing portrait shots. Low light performance could be better, but for the money come out more than acceptable. The 16MP selfie camera is also reliable for video calls.

But where the Nord CE4 Lite truly shines is in its staying power. Its massive 5500mAh battery seems to last forever between charges, and when low, SuperVOOC fast charging has it fully juiced in well under an hour. Even with heavier use, multiple days per charge is achievable.

In closing, while not revolutionary, the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite achieves what matters most for the price – outstanding battery life and strong all-round performance that defies expectations. For those on a who want a smartphone capable of more than the basics, this Nord is worthy of strong consideration.
