Srinagar, Dec 4: An off-duty Territorial Army soldier was injured in a terrorist attack in Awantipora sub-district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday evening, officials reported.
The soldier, who was on leave and stationed in Baramulla district in north Kashmir, was shot near his residence in the Aripal area of Tral. Following the attack, he was immediately shifted to a medical facility where his condition is reported to be stable.
In response to the incident, joint security forces launched a search operation in the area to locate the attacker. However, no further details have been released by the police or the Army regarding the incident so far.
