Srinagar, July 3: The two-day Working Committee meeting of Jammu Kashmir National Conference began here on Wednesday to discuss the preparations for upcoming assembly polls.
Party president Farooq Abdullah presided over the meeting that began at party office at Srinagar. Party Vice President Omar Abdullah and senior leaders attended the meeting.
“All issues including poll preparations for the assembly polls was discussed,” a party leader said.
On Monday, a party spokesman had said the meeting will address a variety of issues affecting both the public and the party, with a special focus on preparations for the upcoming assembly election.
NC has also constituted a manifesto Committee for upcoming assembly election which will be led by senior party member and former Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather.
The committee has been tasked with presenting a draft of the manifesto within 45 days, the party spokesman had said.
