MLA kick-starts const work

MLA Jammu East and party chief whip Rajesh Gupta started the construction work of the Shed and flooring of the Muslim Graveyard Gujjar Nagar at Ward Number 6.The estimated cost of the work is rupees 26 lakhs. JMC officials were accompanying the MLA and included Xen Rajesh Gupta, AEE Anil Gupta and JEs Mohammad Yasir and Sayen Mohammad. The prominent members of the Muslim community who accompanied the MLA included the President of the Muslim federation Jenab Abdul Majeed, Shaikh Mohd.,Salim Khan,Akram Khan,Rafiq Khan,Mohd.Hussain, Aafaq Qazmi,Rashid Mir,Rehmatullah Malik,Pervez Malik and senior journalist Sohail Kazmi. President of the Muslim federation Jenab Abdul Majeed thanked the MLA Rajesh Gupta for his endeavour in getting the construction of the Shed and flooring of the Muslim Graveyard started.Senior Journalist Sohail Kazmi was all praise for the proactive approach of the MLA Rajesh Gupta in the development of areas that have significant presence of the members of the Muslim community and said that the Muslim community would always support the sincere and hard working leader like Rajesh Gupta. Prominent community member Sheikh Mehmood. also highlighted various developmental needs of the area and requested the MLA for his continued help in the development of the area. Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that ever since he became the MLA it has been his priority to see to it that all the developmental needs of the Gujjar Nagar and Mohalla Dalpatian are kept in focus and taken up in earnest. Recalling his days as a Corporator from Dalpatian area and his association with the Muslim community he said that he has always received full cooperation of the muslim community.
