Jammu, Jan 04: Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Athletics Association shall hold two-day Kathua District Athletics Championships at Government Degree College Kathua from January six.
The competition shall be held in under-14, under-16, under-18, under-20 and senior groups of both boys and girls as also men and women, a handout issued by the Association here today informed.
Athletes desirous of taking part in this district competition are advised to report the venue of Government Degree College Kathua on January six at 10 am bringing along Date of Birth Certificate and Aadhar Card. Such participating athletes need to contact Bhushan Kumar (6005625284).
The Competition: Under 16: 60 mts, 600 mts, Long Jump, Shotput. Under 18:
100 mts, 200 mts, 400 mts, 1000 mts, Long Jump, Shotput. Under 20: 100 mts, 200 mts, 400 mts, 800 mts, 1500 mts, Long Jump, Shotput, Javelin Throw. Open: 100 mts, 200 mts, 400 mts, 800 mts, 1500 mts, 5000 mts, Shotput, Javelin Throw.
