JU’s PG women bag Kho-Kho trophy

Jamu, Dec 08: The combined side of Post Graduate (PG) Departments of University of (JU) today bagged the annual inter-college women's Kho-Kho trophy outplaying Government College for Women (GCW) Udhampur 17-10 in the final played on the JU Campus, here.

The event was organised by Directorate of , JU. Earlier, in semi-finals, GCW Udhampur defeated Government Degree College (GDC) Ramnagar 20-10 and PG Departments trounced GDC Kathua 15-10.

Director Sports, Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ), Dr. Vinod Bakshi was the chief guest, who presented the title trophies in the presence of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Vimal Kishore, Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Dr. Vikesh Kumar, Dr. Mukesh Kumar, PD Singh, Ravish Vaid, Vikas Karlopia, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Jai Bharat, Harinderpal Singh, Inderjeet Singh, Dr. Mahak, Rishiv Sharma, Richa Mandla and Manu Singh Pawar.

The technical penal for the competition included Dheeraj Sharma, Anil Kumar, Palbinder Singh, Pooja Sharma, and Gagan Kumar.
