JMC fails to improve basic amenities: Namrta

Date:

Tawi: Apni Party Provincial President, Women Wing, Jammu Namrta Sharma today criticized Jammu Municipal Corporation for its failure to improve the livelihood within its limits which shows the grounding of Smart City project before it's take off.

Speaking at a joining programme at Shastri Nagar in Gandhi Nagar assembly constituency, Namrta said that the Smart City has become an unfulfilled dream for the people of the City which seems to have failed to improve their livelihood.

Namrta said the city which attracts religious tourists from across the country should have been developed as a model city with improved basic amenities.

Namrta demanded that the Govt. should pull the JMC authorities for their failure in developing the city. The roads with potholes, traffic congestion, and baggers welcome presents a bad image of the city which is developed as Smart City and therefore, the shortfalls in development should be overcome within a shortest period of time, said Namrta.

On the occasion, many women joined Apni Party's Women Wing in presence of Provincial President, Women Wing, Jammu, Namrta Sharma.  Ritu Pandita, Meenakshi Sharma, Tanu Singh, Renu Rajput, Jyoti Bali among others joined Apni Party.
