J&KITCO Ltd organizes entrepreneurship awareness camp

J&KITCO Ltd, a joint venture company, of the central and state government financial and industrial infrastructure enterprises, organized three days Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC) Programme for the students of science background at the Government Polytechnic College, Jammu. This programme was sponsored by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of , Ahmedabad under the aegis of Science & Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, New Delhi. Three days EAC would cover various topics like general concept of entrepreneurship, its opportunities, how to start small scale industries (SSI), Support and financial assistance from the government agencies, Banks, lectures from successful entrepreneurs followed by the nearby factory visit so that aspirants shall have live exposure to the operating unit. There were eighty students who participated on the first day of the awareness programme. The programme commenced on 19th September and will culminate on 21st September. On this occasion, the chief operating officer of J&KITCO Sanjeev Dogra told that more such programmes like Entrepreneurship development programmes for general, women and technical specific will be organized soon by J&KITCO in Jammu, Kathua and Udhampur area.
