Srinagar, Dec 14: Jammu and Kashmir Police have filed a chargesheet against 40 persons for their alleged involvement in anti-national activities in Kashmir, including crossing over to Pakistan for illegal arms training, an official said on Sunday.
A police spokesperson said a challan was presented before the competent court in a case registered this year under the Egress and Internal Movement Control Ordinance (EIMCO). The chargesheet was filed after completion of the investigation.
The accused are alleged to have engaged in activities deemed anti-national, with some reportedly crossing the border to Pakistan for illicit arms training, the spokesperson said. (Agencies)
