    J&K Police attaches drug peddler’s property

    Jammu Tawi, Aug 17: Jammu and Kashmir Police in a major crackdown on drug trafficking, has attached property worth lakhs of a drug peddler in Udhampur district.

    The police spokesman here today said that a property worth ₹ 8.64 lakhs belonging to a drug peddler namely Raj Rupinder Singh of Jhib Enclave, Garhi Cantt., Udhampur has been attached.

    He said that action has been taken under relevant sections and a case was registered at Police Station Rehambal.

    The attached property includes amount of ₹ 8.64 lakh lying in the bank account.

    Jammu and Kashmir Police reaffirmed its resolve to eliminate the menace of drugs from the district and continue strict action against drug peddlers.
