Impact of HIV/AIDS and Drug De-Addiction in Srinagar District

Srinagar, August 11: IIn an effort to combat the growing concerns of HIV/AIDS and drug de-addiction, the Jammu & Kashmir AIDS Control Society, in collaboration with JK Munificent, organized a series of awareness programs from March 26 to July 22, 2024, at various locations on the outskirts of Srinagar District.
The initiative featured expert resource persons who distributed informational materials and engaged with the community, particularly youth, to raise awareness about the risks and prevention of HIV/AIDS and drug de-addiction. Through this collaborative effort, the organizations aim to reduce the impact of these pressing issues in the region.
